The Joint Council of Young Scientists of the KhFRC FEB RAS is a permanent youth institutional body and is a group of young scientists, who are representatives of the departments. Young scientists are postgraduates, PhD students, as well as researchers with a PhD degree not older than 35 years, and researchers with a Doctor of Science degree not older than 40 years.
The Joint Council of Young Scientists of KhFRC consists of four young scientists who are chairmen of the Councils of Young Scientists within the divisions elected at the meeting of young scientists of the divisions.

Members of the Council are professionals in various fields of scientific knowledge, many of them are active members of the Councils of Young Scientists of the Institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The activities of the Council include, first of all, the popularization of science among young people and the general public, including schools and universities, support and hosting of youth scientific events, international cooperation, analytical and expert work, including the preparation of proposals for the development and support of Russian science. The Council is also responsible for the coordination and resolution of issues related to the provision of housing for young scientists of organizations of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
